Contrary to popular belief, not all headaches originate from the brain or other intracranial structures. In fact, when headache cases, which are not only neurological but also orthopedic, are evaluated, it is seen that the majority originate from the neck region. The positions and angles of the cervical vertebrae, the shortness or tightness of the neck muscles, myofascial pains in the neck region, and spasms caused by fatigue all contribute to headaches. Headaches can be evaluated and treated with manual therapy. Patients feel relief after a treatment session.
