Diseases Treated with Manual Therapy

Treatments are planned and applied after detailed evaluation of patients. Manual therapy includes techniques such as manipulative applications directed at joints, joint and nerve mobilizations, soft tissue relaxation techniques, specific stretching techniques, deep tissue massage, clinical and elastic taping techniques. After manual therapy, patients are given personalized exercise programs. Exercise programs include disease-specific strengthening exercises, stretching and relaxation exercises, posture exercises, and other appropriate exercises selected, planned, and implemented one-on-one with the patient. The main diseases treated with manual therapy are as follows;

  • Spinal problems and pain (neck and low back hernia, posture problems, spinal movement restrictions, etc.)
  • Joint problems and pain (movement restrictions, strength losses, post-fracture dislocations rehabilitation, etc.)
  • Rheumatic diseases (ankylosing spondylitis, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, etc.)
  • Soft tissue problems and pain (muscle and tendon tears, tissue hardening or tension, etc.)
  • Post-operative rehabilitation (restoration and improvement of functions after surgery, joint contractures, etc.)
  • Sports injuries (soft tissue injuries, muscle tears, dislocations, etc.)
  • Headaches (tension or stress-induced headaches, headaches accompanying neck problems, etc.)
  • Tension and pain caused by excessive stress
  • Geriatric problems (protection from the adverse effects of aging, maintaining and improving muscle strength and joint movements)
